Mark Zuckerberg Interview Derailed After His Audio Doesn’t Work
In a shocking turn of events, the debut episode of The Information’s video podcast, TITV, was abruptly halted yesterday due to technical difficulties. Unfortunately, the interview with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg fell victim to audio issues that left listeners unable to hear any portion of their conversation.
According to reports, Zuckerberg and The Information’s editor-in-chief, Jessica Lessin, were seen smiling and chatting enthusiastically, but unfortunately, none of the audio made it through to the audience. After around 2-3 minutes of awkward silence, TITV host Akash Pasricha stepped in to interrupt the broadcast.
“I don’t think we have sound,” Pasricha said, before concluding “We’re gonna call the show there.”
The incident marked an unfortunate and unceremonious start for the new podcast. Considering its ambitious goal of becoming The Information’s answer to popular daily tech news program TBPN, one would expect a certain level of professionalism from TITV.
Despite this hiccup, it remains unclear what caused the audio issues that plagued the interview.
