Taikia Waititi Will Direct The Next ‘Judge Dredd’
Gizmodo reports that Taika Waititi is set to direct a new live-action Judge Dredd movie. The upcoming project, which has not been officially announced by any studio, is currently in the process of securing financing and will feature a script written by Drew Pearce (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, The Fall Guy). Chris Kingsley, Jason Kingsley, and Ben Smith of Rebellion Developments, Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment, Jeremy Platt, Natalie Viscuso, and Pearce himself are all attached to produce the film.
It is unclear when filming will begin or if any additional casting has been confirmed.
