New Album on First Day of Diddy Trial: ‘Now We Even’
Just as the trial for Sean “Diddy” Combs began, rapper Suge Knight dropped a surprise album titled “Now We Even”. The new project features 12 tracks that aim to showcase his growth as an artist and provide insight into the turbulent times he has faced in his career.
In an interview with Billboard, Knight blasted rival rapper Snoop Dogg, stating that he is “destroying” hip-hop and Death Row’s credibility. This comes after a long-standing feud between the two rappers.
Meanwhile, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Beyoncé’s mother, revealed that her daughter has decided not to continue with movies for now. According to Knowles-Lawson, Beyoncé wants to focus on her music and other creative projects.
In other news, Korean girl group ROSÉ, formerly of Blackpink, teamed up with Bruno Mars for a new single titled “APT.” The song has become the record-extending 17th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.
