FBI Director Kash Patel hailed the conviction of over 45 individuals in a massive $250 million COVID-19 pandemic-related fraud scheme, which is reportedly the largest in Minnesota history.
The fraud, dubbed “Feeding our Future,” exploited a federally funded children’s nutrition program designed to reimburse states for feeding kids during the crisis. Conspirators falsely claimed to have served millions of meals, but instead misappropriated funds for personal gain.
