Galaxy S26 Ultra Leaks and More: A Week of Android News
The smartphone market has been a whirlwind in the past week, with several important updates to keep you informed about. This latest installment of Android Circuit covers all the essential highlights from the world of Android.
First off, we’re taking a look at Samsung’s Galaxy S models for 2026. New details have emerged on these devices, and it appears that the top-line smartphone, reportedly the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is supporting a 200-megapixel camera alongside other optical improvements. This new leak also mentions a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, as well as partners building parts for 5x optical zoom. It’s unclear if this 3x camera will make a return.
On the other hand, we have Pixel 10 Pro Fold details revealed through the FCC certification process. The display size of the cover screen is increasing from 6.3 inches to 6.4 inches due to Google reducing the bezel and hinge. Additionally, there’s a notable boost in brightness to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, which marks an increase of 10% compared to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Moving on, Samsung has filed a trademark application for “Galaxy Z Trifold,” giving us our best clue yet as to what may come next in their smartphone lineup. This name hints at both the device itself and its product line.
Lastly, OnePlus is now offering PlusMind, an AI-powered assistant that can be used through the UI on older models or integrated into newer devices via a ‘Plus Key.’ We’re unsure which phones this new service will debut with, but it’s been confirmed for the 13S model.
