Destiny 2 players who are gearing up to participate in the upcoming Desert Perpetual raid will need to be aware of a list of disabled items before attempting the challenging content. According to Bungie’s help post, certain gear pieces have been disabled due to bugs and errors that may affect the integrity of the race.
Firstly, exotic armor perks, including Spirit of the Liar, have been completely disabled for the duration of the raid. This change has been implemented to prevent any potential advantages or disadvantages from these perks in the current state they are in.
Furthermore, several weapons have also been listed as disabled, including Outbreak Perfected, Third Iteration Scout Rifle, Choir of One, and Icebreaker. Notably, it seems that the new exotic scout rifle, Third Iteration, is dealing 150% more damage when paired with anti-barrier, an issue that needs to be addressed.
Additionally, Bungie has taken measures to reduce server strain by disabling bounty and weapon leveling progression for kills in the raid. This change aims to prevent potential issues from occurring during the race.
While it’s understood that the intent behind these changes is to ensure a smoother experience, there are still concerns regarding the integrity of the raid due to the numerous bugs and errors popping up throughout the game.
