Justin Bieber has scored his eighth U.K. No. 1 single with the release of “Daisies”, which has taken the top spot on the Official Singles Chart.
This major achievement is a testament to the artist’s enduring popularity and his ability to connect with fans across the globe. The song, released as part of his recent surprise album Swag, marks Bieber’s first No. 1 single in six years and his first solo effort since 2015.
Bieber has previously topped the charts with “What Do You Mean?” (2015), “Sorry” (2015), “Love Yourself” (2015), “Cold Water” with Major Lazer and MØ (2016); “I’m the One” with DJ Khaled, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne (2017); and “I Don’t Care” with Ed Sheeran (2019).
Following his latest achievement, Bieber now joins The Rolling Stones and Sam Smith in sharing eight U.K. No. 1 singles, both of whom have also achieved this feat. However, Elvis Presley holds the record for most chart-toppers, boasting an impressive 21.
The top 5 on the Official Singles Chart is rounded out by MK and Chrystal’s “Dior” falling one place to No. 2, while Alex Warren’s “Eternity” enters at number three, as Sabrina Carpenter’s “Manchild” closes off the week at number five.
