The Video That Made Me Quit ‘Path Of Exile 2’
As I delved deeper into the world of Path of Exile 2, I must admit that I was thoroughly enjoying myself. The game’s unique blend of gameplay and challenging boss battles kept me engaged for hours on end. However, it wasn’t until I stumbled upon a video shared by Kripparrian, a content creator I respect deeply, that my enthusiasm came to an abrupt halt.
The video in question revealed the harsh realities of Path of Exile 2’s endgame. And let me tell you, what I saw left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. It appears that the game’s current state is plagued by one-shot deaths, making it nearly impossible for players to progress without devoting an absurd amount of time to grinding for gear.
What I witnessed in the video was nothing short of a nightmare. Players are forced to dedicate entire builds to defense, armor, life, resistance, and even then, they can still be one-shot multiple times. The experience is not only grueling but also feels unfair. It’s as if the game is actively working against you.
But what really took the cake was the realization that I’m not alone in my discontent. Even some of the highest level players are criticizing the endgame, citing its lack of enjoyment and senseless difficulty spikes. The idea that one must devote themselves to timing dodge rolls just to survive is absurd.
I understand that Path of Exile 2 is still in Early Access, and I’m willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. However, as things stand, I’ve come to the conclusion that I won’t be returning to this game until significant changes are made to its endgame.
It’s not just about being good enough; it’s about having fun. And right now, Path of Exile 2’s current state is in dire need of a revamp.
