Ed Sheeran Brings Back Doppelgänger Rupert Grint for New Music Video, 14 Years After ‘Lego House’
In a shocking reunion, Ed Sheeran has reteamed with none other than his Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint in a new music video that is sure to send shockwaves through the entertainment world. The news comes as Sheeran prepares the release of his upcoming album Play.
According to reports, the unlikely duo will be featured in a brand-new visual for the track “A Little More”, set to drop alongside the record. This marks a 14-year follow-up to their initial collaboration on the music video for “Lego House” back in 2011.
In an exclusive clip shared by Sheeran himself, it appears that Grint will be reprising his role as Ed’s doppelgänger from the earlier work. The new visual shows Grint stepping out of a prison cell and reliving memories of their previous encounter, including a memorable moment where he is tackled after sneaking into a concert venue and pretending to be Sheeran onstage.
Sheeran took to social media to share the exciting news with fans, captioning the post “14 years later me and @rupertgrint are reunited. I had this wild idea after writing the song, and thankfully rupert was up for it. It’s an utterly bonkers video for a very upbeat, fun, but angry song.”
It remains to be seen what other surprises Sheeran has in store for his dedicated fan base with the upcoming album release.
