Prince Harry has reportedly condemned a charity boss for behaving in “the poorest taste” after they referenced his late mother, Princess Diana, in an attempt to gain influence over the duke’s life’s work.
According to sources close to the prince, he is deeply upset that the charity head would dare to mention Diana’s name without permission. The princess was instrumental in establishing Sentebale, a charity founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, but the royal fears that her legacy will “go down in flames” if the organization is mismanaged.
The incident reportedly occurred during a meeting between Prince Harry and the charity boss, where the prince allegedly expressed his disapproval at the tone-deaf reference. The source added that Prince Harry feels the charity head has been trying to exert control over his life’s work, which he is determined to protect.
This controversy comes as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to release a new documentary about their charity work in September.
