Kane Brown to Guest Star on ‘9-1-1: Nashville’: ‘It’s Gonna Be Sick & I’m Excited’
Country singer Kane Brown has landed a guest-starring role in the upcoming series premiere of ABC’s 9-1-1: Nashville, which is set to air on October 9 and stream on Hulu the following day.
The news was announced just hours before Brown began filming his scene for the show, which takes place during a concert performance. The musician’s television appearances include recent roles in Fire Country and Barmageddon alongside fellow country star Blake Shelton. Additionally, he has served as a host for the CMT Music Awards on multiple occasions.
In an Instagram Story video shared before his 6:45 a.m. call time on August 7, Brown revealed his excitement about the role, stating that it’s “gonna be sick” and hinting at the show’s potential to be thrilling or intense.
The new series is a spin-off of the popular 9-1-1 franchise, following first responders in Nashville, Tennessee. The cast features Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, LeAnn Rimes, Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz and Hunter McVey.
In his busy career, Brown has released his fourth full-length studio project, The High Road, which debuted earlier this year.
