Riot Platform Acquires 667 BTC, Boosting Holdings to 17,429 Tokens
In a recent development, Riot platform has made a significant move in the crypto market by acquiring an additional 667 Bitcoin (BTC) tokens. This substantial purchase has boosted their holdings to a staggering 17,429 tokens.
According to the latest announcement from Riot, this acquisition was made possible through the proceeds from its upsized $594 million, 0.75% coupon convertible bond issue. The company confirmed that the BTC tokens were purchased at an average price of $101,135 per token.
As a result of this acquisition and mining production year-to-date, Riot has generated an impressive Bitcoin Yield Per Share of 36.7% Quarter-To-Date (QTD) and 37.2% Year-To-Date (YTD).
