Tom Sandoval Teases His ‘America’s Got Talent’ Live Performance Will Be ‘Bigger’ & ‘Better’: ‘It’s Going to Be More Extra’
As he moves forward on the quarterfinals of NBC’s talent competition show, “America’s Got Talent,” Tom Sandoval and his cover band, The Most Extras, are gearing up for an unforgettable live performance that promises to be more extravagant than their previous one.
“I’m so excited!” the reality star and singer reveals to Billboard about advancing to the next stage of the show. “It was not easy, but I am grateful we have this chance.”
The former Vanderpump Rules cast member, who initially expressed doubts about participating on the program due to concerns over potential backlash following his high-profile split with girlfriend Ariana Madix and subsequent affair with co-star Raquel Leviss, has now been boosted by his experience on the show.
“You know, I was very nervous. I wasn’t sure I really wanted to do it,” Sandoval confesses about his initial hesitation. “I thought, you know, I might be facing a lot of backlash online and I just decided this is such a great opportunity for me…and for the band to be out there.”
Sandoval’s performance on AGT with The Most Extras was met with a standing ovation from the judges after they covered A-ha’s 1985 hit “Take on Me.”
