Google DeepMind Unveils New Video Model To Rival Sora
Google’s AI subsidiary, DeepMind, has announced the latest upgrade in its video generation technology. The new model, Veo 2, is designed to enhance the existing capabilities of their VideoFX tool, which enables users to generate videos based on text prompts.
DeepMind claims that Veo 2 can create more realistic and diverse video content than ever before, with improved handling of complex scenes and better rendering of textures. The updated model also includes new filters for explicit and violent content, as well as a feature that embeds invisible markers into the generated frames to detect deepfakes.
“We continue to work with the creative community and people across the wider industry, gathering insights and listening to feedback, including those who use VideoFX,” said Collins.
