Billboard caught up with Karrahbooo at Rolling Loud Miami 2024 to address some of the most burning rumors surrounding her career and personal life.
One of the first questions put to the rapper was about the current state of her relationships. “I’m single, I love myself,” she declared, putting any speculation about her romantic status to rest. When asked if there were any future collaborations or projects in the works, Karrahbooo teased that fans should “keep watching” and hinted at some surprises coming their way.
However, it was when addressing the topic of hip-hop trends that things got really interesting. When asked which trend she would erase from history if given the chance, Karrahboo took a bold stance. “I’d probably take out the whole ‘mumble rap’ thing,” she said with conviction. “It’s just not music to me. It doesn’t speak to me.”
The rapper also touched on her own identity and experiences, making it clear that she is unapologetically black. When asked about the importance of representation in the music industry, Karrahbooo shared a powerful message: “I love everybody. There’s a lot of trends in hip-hop, ins and outs. I love what I do, and I’m not going to apologize for it.”
It seems like Karrahbooo is all about being true to herself and unapologetic about her artistry.
