Hisense’s HT Saturn speakers feature wireless Dolby Atmos and room calibration
In a move that is sure to shake the audio industry, Hisense has officially unveiled its new HT Saturn audio system just in time for CES. And what an impressive offering it is! The five-piece surround system boasts four identical satellite units and a single 6.5-inch subwoofer, totaling 13 speakers spread across the five units – all of which are wireless.
According to Hisense, this system has been “purpose-built to complement” extra-large screens, making it an ideal companion for their own TVs that measure in at 85-inches or bigger. And with its impressive feature set, it’s no wonder why. The HT Saturn is not only compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technology, but also includes a room calibration system designed to ensure the best possible audio experience.
But that’s not all – this system can actually utilize your TV’s onboard speaker as an additional component, further enhancing the overall sonic landscape. Connectivity options are aplenty here, including HDMI eARC, optical, and Bluetooth 5.3. And when it comes to installation, you’ll be happy to know that everything is wall-mountable, making it a breeze to find space for the five cube-shaped speakers.
Five unique EQ modes have also been included, allowing users to optimize their sound experience based on what they’re listening to – movies, music, games, and more. Unfortunately, pricing and availability details won’t be made available until CES 2025, so we’ll just have to wait a little while longer for those specifics.
In the meantime, if you’re in desperate need of a new entertainment-based sound system, Sony did put out some excellent options earlier this year – but I’m sure many will be eagerly awaiting Hisense’s official debut of the HT Saturn.
